Ten Christmas Gift Ideas For Your Man

Ok, with Christmas just around the corner, tempers are getting strained and people are getting stressed. If trying to find the perfect gift for your man doesn't do it, fighting the equally stressed out crowds and traffic can certainly put you in a bad mood.

So, how do you choose that one gift that will say "I really care about you?"

It's easy to buy for women...feminine items like jewelry, lingerie, and perfume or anything related to a favorite hobby or sport that we really enjoy works great.

But what about him? How do we choose something HE's going to like?

While he may fall far from the norm, here are ten ideas for his Christmas gift - at least one should be a welcome idea:

1. If your man has a favorite hobby, something for or about that hobby would be a welcome gift

2. A gift certificate to his favorite book store is always a good choice

3. Tickets to see his favorite sports team play might be appreciated

4. If he likes to travel (or needs to for his job) something to help streamline his packing would come in handy

5. Electronics! - Men are nuts for the latest electronic gadget, game or program

6. Warm leather driving gloves are a good choice for frigid winter days

7. Candy - especially if it's home-made

8. If your man is a hunter, a gift certificate to a sportsman's shop would be appreciated

9. A few CD's for his car would be nice - IF you know his taste in music

10. Tickets to see his favorite group or performer in concert might be welcomed

There you have at least ten ideas as a jumping-off point.

One mistake many women make when buying a gift for the man in their lives is to buy too personal of a gift too soon. He may not yet be at the point where he wants to get that "intimate" with you, or give a gift that puts your relationship on another playing field.

Also, don't spend extravagantly - when he buys you a $30 gift and you spend $800 on him, this tends to make him uncomfortable and feel like you're rushing him into something. So, keep your gifts modest but tasteful. Leave the expensive stuff for after you're married and have talked about your gift-giving plans.

The best gift you can give him is to let him know you appreciate him and enjoy his company without reservation.
